Using LHTSOFT PDF

LHTSOFT PDF processes editing locally in your browser. Optional Google Drive/Dropbox/OneDrive connections use user-directed browser-to-provider transfers, with no LHTSOFT PDF server. Desktop Chromium-based browsers have automated smoke tests; Firefox, Safari and mobile browsers need independent compatibility testing.

How it works

  1. Choose a PDF file or image.
  2. Use the left tools to edit, merge, extract or organize pages.
  3. Optional Local draft recovery stores one unencrypted PDF in your browser only after you enable it (64 MB maximum; 7-day validity check (expired drafts removed on next access)).
  4. Save a new PDF via Download. Keep your own backup; browser storage is not guaranteed.

Beta release: features are introduced only after validation. General-purpose existing PDF text replacement, certified signatures, office document conversion and guaranteed irreversible redaction are not supported. The editor has narrowly limited experimental text replacement. Keep a backup of your originals.
