Compress PDF images in your browser
Choose a JPEG quality preset to recompress eligible RGB/grayscale JPEGs or simple opaque FlateDecode image objects, including PNG Predictor 15, including some PNG-origin PDF images. Transparent images, masks, CMYK, unsupported predictors and color profiles are not supported. The output is lossy; original text and vector drawing remain as PDF. A separate lossless PDF structure optimizer is available.

How it works
- Open a PDF in the browser editor.
- Choose Optimize PDF and a lossy image compression preset, then click Compress PDF images. For no pixel changes, choose the lossless structural option.
- Review scan legibility and compare file sizes. Larger candidates are discarded; download only if the result is acceptable.
Beta release: features are introduced only after validation. General-purpose existing PDF text replacement, certified signatures, office document conversion and guaranteed irreversible redaction are not supported. The editor has narrowly limited experimental text replacement. Keep a backup of your originals.
